Tatiana López Ayala

Tatiana López Ayala, Ph.D. is an Economic and Labour Geographer specializing in labour rights in the global digital economy. Her research focuses on labour conditions, governance and worker agency in the digital platform economy in Germany and Latin America as well as in the global garment, orange juice and wine industry with a regional focus on South Asia, Brazil and South Africa. Tatiana López has worked for several organisations in the field of international policy and development, including the UNITAR NYO Office (2012-2013) and the International Fairwork Secretariat at the Berlin Social Science Center. Currently, she works as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Würzburg, Germany. She holds a diploma in Latin American Studies and a Ph.D. in Economic Geography from the University of Cologne, Germany.
